Attendance and Records

Absences and Vacations

We expect students to attend each class of a trimester. Consistent attendance is important for mastering the concepts presented in class.

If your child has to miss a class, please let the teacher know by email or phone. Our activities sometimes depend on the number of students present in class. In addition, the teacher will know to email you the class summary and homework

Student Records

It is very important that all the emergency contact information is kept up to date and correct. Please inform us immediately of any changes. We need to keep your information current.

Restricted Items
We ask that students do not bring snacks containing peanuts.

Tuition payments

Tuition for our classes is trimester-based. We have 3 trimesters, Fall, Winter and Spring, 10 classes each.

The payment for a trimester is due by its second class. We accept payments by check, cash, or PayPal. Please check our Tuition page for more information.

New students are welcome to attend a free trial class. If you are joining mid-trimester, the tuition is pro-rated.

Tuition refunds

A pro-rated refund for missed classes is given in the following cases:

  • A long vacation or other absence (at least two missed classes in a row).
The teacher must be notified about this by e-mail, at least 7 days before the planned absence.
  • A long illness (at least two missed classes in a row).
The teacher must be notified by e-mail.
  • A class is cancelled by Prime Factor.
